1st BN SSB distributed seeds to the farmers and also conducted Veterinary village OPDs under Civic Action Program in NE

Sonapur: In a series of welfare programmes and significant community engagement initiatives under its public outreach programme taken up by 1st Battalion Sashastra Seema under the guidance of Anuj Kumar, Officiating Commandant, a large number of seeds were distributed to the farmers of Dimoria Block in Kamrup(M) district.

Officials from the Agricultural Department also attended in the program.

The program witnessed a participation of around 230 local farmers under Dimoria Block.Apart from distribution of seeds,Medical Village OPDs were conducted in coordination with Dr. Rishi Sonowal of Block Veterinary Dispensary, Sonapur at Ghagua village under Digaru Gaon Panchayat.

The SSB is always with the common people and doing its best for the welfare of the local people in the area.
