Today, in continuation to Amrit kalash Yatra under the aegis of Meri Maati Mera Desh. 1st Battalion SSB Sonapur initiated and facilitated the program under three different Blocks at Panikhaiti Gaon Panchayat, Rani Gaon Panchayat & Baruabari Gaon Panchayat and covered many villages for successful collection of Maati/Rice from households.
The Program was attended by Gajan Chettry, Vice President Kamrup(M) Zila Parishad, Barnali Baruah, President Baruabari GP, Jiten Rabha, Counsellor Panikhaiti GP, Parmeswar Barman, President Rani GP along with NGOs, SHGs members, media persons,social workers, villagers and personnel of 1st BN SSB Sonapur.
Earlier,1st BN SSB Sonapur participated in the program at 19 Gaon Panchayats under three Blocks of Kamrup(M) district.
