To mark the momentous occasion,1st BN Sashastra Seema Bal Sonapur organised an inaugural function and handed over a long-awaited Kalakendra cum Community Hall worth Rs 5 lakhs to the people of Jalukbari village under Dimoria block.The construction of the Kalakendra commenced on 06 December,2023 under Civic Action Program in NE and fully completed by 27 Feb,2024.The inaugural function began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by curtain-raising jointly by Sh. Sunil Kaushik,Commandant 1st BN SSB along with village headman. Concerning the occasion, Sh. Sunil Kaushik,Commandant thanked the villagers for their cooperation and for making this event successful.
Further,he appealed to the villagers to preserve the same bonding in the long run.The programme was also attended by Sh. Anuj Kumar,Second In Command,Sh. Atul Kumar Joshi,Dy.Commandant,Sh. Dhiren Doloi,village headman Jalukbari,Smt. Malika Doloi,President Jalukbari Mahila Samiti,unit personnel of 1st BN SSB and villagers.
